About Myself
I am a proactive and diligent individual who is eager to learn and enjoys exploring new things. I always strive to broaden my horizons and enrich my personal experiences. I earned a Master’s degree in Statistics from the Department of Applied Mathematics at National Dong Hwa University, with research interests in neural networks, machine learning, and time series analysis.
My master’s research focuses on time series forecasting and spatial interpolation. I utilize neural networks to model high-dimensional data, extract meaningful features, and improve forecasting performance. Furthermore, by incorporating spatial relationships among locations, I develop interpolation methods to estimate values at unobserved locations, addressing data gaps caused by sensor failures or other factors.
Education is a lifelong endeavor and a key process in inspiring wisdom and curiosity. I aspire to transform my knowledge and expertise into simple and engaging lessons, helping students discover that “science is everywhere in daily life” and encouraging their motivation to learn. Mathematics may seem challenging to many students; however, by building a strong foundation from fundamental concepts and gradually connecting mathematical theories with real-world applications, mathematics can become more than a collection of abstract formulas. Instead, it can serve as a key to unlocking the world and a powerful tool for solving problems.
